SLB Distribution was formed by Simon Brown in 2002 to provide leaflet and poster distribution for local theatres and attractions in the Leicester area. A large network of sites already existed as Simon was Leicester’s DeMontfort Hall & Northampton’s Royal and Derngate Theatre print distributor.
During 2004 our “Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Theatre Arts Box” was launched to provide compact, neat looking display racks in which to display our customer’s leaflets.
SLB move into new premises in the Leicester Creative Business Depot based in the heart of the new cultural quarter of Leicester.
2005/6 saw SLB develop a new holder system for the Royal and Derngate Theatre throughout Northamptonshire after their 18 month refurbishment.

2007 saw the start of an ambitious project to provide detailed information on where and when we have delivered our customers material using the latest barcode technology.
2008 has seen the introduction of our brand new “Great Days out in Leicestershire & Rutland” display racks. These are for the exclusive use of local attractions including Conkers, Snibston, National Space Centre and Leicestershire County Council Museums.
2009 saw SLB introduce a new display holder throughout Northamptonshire aimed at both local theatres and attractions. 78 Derngate and Lamport Hall were the first of many new clients to use these display racks.
2010 SLB join forces with JPH Associates Ltd to provide a new delivery service covering Northamptonshire. New delivery routes and display locations are developed and new customers such as Stanwick Lakes and Northamptonshire County Council Country Parks service join our new display network of over 230 sites and growing.
Early 2011 has seen our new Mini Super boxes being introduced to display locations with higher than normal pick up rates. Facebook and Twitter accounts have been created and a new service has been introduced to keep clients and the public aware of events we are promoting along with up to date pictures of our display holders.
